Services

Federal and state laws guarantee "a free appropriate public education" to all 
children with disabilities, regardless of the severity. 

These laws apply to all children who have visual, auditory, health or physical 
impairments as well as to those who have speech and language, emotional and 
learning disabilities and to those who are mentally retarded. 

The law also requires that, "to the maximum extent appropriate, handicapped 
children...are educated with children who are not handicapped."

To facilitate the success of students with special needs through an individualized approach that establishes an environment where students can capably learn and perform and become contributing members of society.
