Located 13 miles south and 4 miles east of Lawrence on Highway 59, Baldwin is a school district with 4-A high school, a 6-8 middle school, one large elementary and two small rural elementary schools located in Vinland and Worden. Several early childhood programs serve children ages birth through 5. Eudora Eudora is a growing community located on K-10 "the Smart Corridor" linking Lawrence with the Kansas City metropolitan area. U.S.D. #491, has a 4-A high school classification, with modern facilities including wide-area-network, to give our students the best we can offer.
Wellsville Located off Interstate 35, Wellsville is approximately 35 miles southwest of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The district is compromised of approximately 800 students. Wellsville offers a full component of educational services with a staff of over 60 certified teachers.
